Lady Gaga Breaks A Record by Being The First Artist to Sell 20 Million (Digital) Singles



Music industry's digital era has now become official. Whether you like it or not, pop phenomena Lady Gaga has officially written music history as she became the first musician to achieve over 20 million digital singles sales. According to Hollyscoop.com, the Record Industry Association of America (RIAA) has named her the highest-certified artist of digital singles in gold (500,000 units sold) and platinum (1,000,000 units sold). Her first global hit "Just Dance" has gone six times platinum while "Poker Face" went five times platinum and "Bad Romance" four times platinum, "Paparazzi" three times platinum and "Love Game" has been blessed with two platinum plaques.
