Zoe Kravitz has become the new face of Alexander Wang and will appear in the campaign for the designer's T by Alexander Wang collection.
The actress-and-musician - who is the daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet - will appear in the campaign for the designer's T by Alexander Wang collection and will star alongside male model Max Motta in the ads.
As well as having Zoe appearing in his latest adverts, Alexander will also launch his first-ever women's campaign video today (11.08.10), which he worked on with photographer Craig McDean, stylist Karl Templer and creative director Fabien Baron.
Wang said of the video: "This is our way to sum up the season in a different light other than the show."
The footage features model Abbey Lee and she works the subtle New York vibe that inspired Wang's fall collection.
He is quoted by WWD as saying: "It's abstracted. Abbey's not walking down Wall Street past buildings, but there's wind and newspapers flying all over the place. It's very moody and seductive - like looking at a perfume ad where you feel for the girl a lot more. Rather than saying, 'Here's the product.' This is more about expressing ourselves."
Wang also revealed he is considering releasing his own perfume, saying: "I'm thinking and definitely putting together ideas. To be confirmed."
