On-Set Video Of Angelina Jolie Doing Her Own Stunt In Upcoming Action Thriller 'Salt'
CelebrityMania.com: Months away from the theatrical release of "Salt", a sneak peek exposing the making of the spy thriller has been brought forth. Courtesy of Entertainment Tonight, the snippet takes viewers to the behind the scenes and offers glimpses on some of the actions leading lady Angelina Jolie get to do on the set.
From being escorted by police in handcuff to taking over a motorcycle for her run, the 34-year-old actress is captured in the video embodying framed CIA agent Evelyn Salt. Most of the footage, however, focuses on one particular scene where she has to take a hide behind a car and pleads her innocence.
In "Salt", Angelina Jolie is a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. But, when a Russian captive accuses her of being a Russian sleeper spy who is on a mission to kill the president, she is forced to go on the run. Hunted by her colleagues, she now must use all of her covert operative skills and experience to elude capture or the world's most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.
This spy thriller comes from "Clear and Present Danger" director Phillip Noyce and producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Sunil Perkash. Jolie takes over the role which was intended for Tom Cruise. Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor are among the cast. The movie, which script was written by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland, will see the U.S. big screen on July 23.
