Rosa Acosta Voted XXL's Eye Candy Of The Year -- (Sexy Photoshoot Video Ft. Rosa And Tammy Torres)
XXL: Rosa Acosta is having the best week ever. Earlier today when Harris Publications announced the return of KING, the Dominican diva had the distinct honor of being the newest cover girl for the resurrection of “the illest men’s magazine ever.” Now, after weeks of online voting, XXLMag.com readers have crowned Rosa the people’s choice for Eye Candy of the Year.
For the first time ever the competition for XXL’s annual Eye Candy of the Year honors were so intense that we wound up with co-winners—the lovely Rosa Acosta (Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” and “Forever”) and Cuban cutie Tammy Torres (Fabolous’ “Everything, Everyday, Everywhere” and Birdman’s “Money to Blow”).
While both women still share 2009’s Eye Candy of the Year honors, last month XXLMag.com kicked off an online poll for readers to chime in on which one of the reigning queens was hotter.
Nearly 4,300 readers cast their ballots in the tight race between these battling beauties. Tammy didn’t do too shabby, snagging 2,052 votes, but Rosa just edged her out for the win, getting 2,245 people to nudge her towards victory with 52% of the votes.
“I’m really thankful to all my fans who have continued to support me and make this happen,” Rosa said upon hearing about winning the fan’s vote. “I’ve got a lot of projects scheduled for 2010 so stay in touch via rosaacosta.com.”
Look for Rosa on the cover of The Women of KING, which hits stands December 24, just in time for Christmas.

Grammy Nominated R&B Singer Melanie Fiona Talks About Her West Indian Christmas
RAP-UP: While Christmas is a day off for most people, it’s just another day at work for Grammy-nominated R&B singer Melanie Fiona.
“I’m working on Christmas Day, which sounds crappy,” Fiona tells Rap-Up.com about performing on the holiday. “But it’s just one day, and if that’s the day my fans want to see me on, then I’m there.”
Despite being booked on December 25, the “It Kills Me” songstress still plans to spend time with her loved ones during the holiday season while at a family reunion in Florida, and hopes to incorporate some of her favorite family traditions.
“My family is Guyanese, so every Christmas morning we have pepper pot and garlic beef or garlic pork, and my mom makes homemade bread,” the Toronto native says. “Anything to do with my heritage is what is my fondest memory… All the crazy stuff that comes with being West Indian, I love it.”
In addition to spending time with her family, who will come see her perform on Christmas, Fiona also likes to listen to Christmas music, her favorite song being Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire).”
Christmas, however, isn’t the only important part of this holiday season for Fiona. Alongside her yearly resolution to exercise more, she has a big resolution to fulfill in 2010. “I want to be better than I was this year.”

Kanye West Rumored To Propose To Amber Rose In 2010
TimesLive.Co: Kanye West – whose mother Donda West passed away in November 2007 from complications that arose during a cosmetic surgery procedure - is reportedly planning to whisk the former stripper away to the Caribbean early next year to propose.
A friend said: “He has really bonded with her since losing his mother and needs another strong woman in his life.”
The pair are heading to an eight-bedroom, £2,000-a-night villa in the Dominican Republic for the romantic occasion.
The source added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “He’s very serious, otherwise he wouldn’t be spending that much money on her.”
Earlier this year, Amber admitted she was bisexual and could fall in love with a man or a woman.
She said: “I’m extremely open about my sexuality.”
It will be the second time in as many months that Kanye will be heading to the Caribbean holiday spot – he was among the esteemed guests at the birthday bash of Jay-Z, which took place on the island earlier this month.
Mary J. Blige, Kate Hudson, Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys and Ne-Yo were among the other celebrities at the 40th birthday of the hip-hop star.
